Recently I sorted through my books and found Honey, They’re Playing Our SongI enjoyed this book years ago, so I read it again–this time aloud to my husband. The short, comical chapters delighted us both.

Author Nancy Kennedy tells of her search for a special song to epitomize their marriage. Using Erma Bombeck’s humorous style, Kennedy shares poignant stories that teach and entertain. Couples will identify with her transparent accounts of dealing with in-laws, mid-life crisis, holidays, money matters, communication, and more.
Married three months after they met, the Kennedy’s marriage was predicted to fail. Three years later, Nancy became a Christian; her husband did not. Although they were opposites, singing “vastly different tunes,” God helped them find harmony in their marriage. Kennedy’s commitment to build a lasting marriage is evident, and she shares spiritual insights gained.

If you want a good laugh and practical tips on marriage, Honey, They’re Playing Our Song offers both. With its tenderness and comedy, it kept us laughing to the end.
