Oklahoma: When Tears Overflow

daisy2

Some days have no words, just tears. Yesterday was one of those days. Families and cities devastated by Monday’s tornadoes through Oklahoma has left a nation in shock. We take comfort in knowing God is with each survivor. May His mercy, grace, and provision be tangible in the lives of those who have lost so much this week. As we watch stunned from miles away, we can help. Pray. Pray for safety, provision, healing, stamina for volunteers and rescue workers. {Read More}

November: Jesus is Faithful & True

Jesus Is Faithful & True

 “Your love O, Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” Psalm 119:90 A wise mentor once asked me when I was overcome with worry, “Kellie, was He faithful yesterday? He will be faithful today and tomorrow too.” It’s not that I forget His faithfulness or promises, more that I allow the world to hold my eyes and ears too long. It’s easy to become distracted by the cares of this world. It is equally important to recognize {Read More}

Meet Kelly Stigliano

KellyJ.Stigliano

Hi there! I’m Kelly J. Stigliano. My husband, Jerry and I enjoy life in Orange Park, FL. A blended family, we have five grown children, a granddaughter, and a new grandbaby on the way—none of whom live in Florida! I grew up in a small northeastern Ohio town, not realizing I was Yankee (non-Amish) until I was eight years old. Our high school graduating class of 93 students was the largest ever at that time. I quickly moved through the {Read More}

Mentoring Moment’s Theme for the New Year

Jesus Is

Happy New Year! Each year Mentoring Moments enters the new year with a theme for our upcoming posts. Last year our theme was Grace-Full Living. We shared articles on grace-full homes, grace-full seasons of life, grace-full mentoring, and grace-full outreach. Highlighting God’s grace in the everyday practicality of life was both enjoyable and challenging. Most years we are praying and pondering right into late fall concerning our theme for the new year. Not so for 2012. Infact, by April 2011 {Read More}

Has God Been Faithful to You?

horn of plenty

During the month of November MMCW would love to share your stories of faithfulness, Scriptures of encouragement, and testimonies of grace. Articles can be any length. That includes a few short sentences, a scripture passage, or a full article reaching 500 words. Maybe your story is best told with a  Scripture and a photo you took–that works too. In addition to our daily posts, join us over on Facebook where we are doing a daily Thankfulness list this month. If you use {Read More}
