Are you too busy to host a Christmas party, but you’d love a chance to fellowship this season? This Christmas party lets you have your gift and wrap it, too!

Purpose: Missions, Fellowship, and Prayer
A Party For: 4 to 8 women who have gifts to wrap. This can also be done as a mission project for senior adults in your church or community.

Invitation: (Outside of Card)
Grab your ribbons and bows
A few gifts too!
It’s wrapping time and we need you!
Bring wrapping paper, bows, and gifts to wrap.

Inside of Card: Note the date, time and place

Decorations: No special decorations are needed; however you’ll need to have several card tables available as workstations.

Just for Fun: The hostess needs to provide the tape, extra scissors, and small trinkets or ornaments which the guests might want to attach to the presents.

Devotion: Did you know that a woman wrapped the best gift ever given? Just think about it, Mary wrapped Jesus in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger. Tell the Christmas story by taking each piece of the nativity set from a wrapped box. After you have explained each piece, ask your guests if they have received the greatest gift ever given–Jesus Christ as their Redeemer and Savior. Once all the gifts are wrapped, pray for those who will receive the gifts.

Refreshments: Serve hot cocoa, s’mores, and cookies.

Something Special to Take Home: Give each guest a wrapped box as a Christmas tree ornament with the following note attached: Your friendship is one of the best gifts I will receive this Christmas. When you see this package on your tree, remember it is from me to you, filled with love through and through. I am proud of you, love _________ (sign your name).
