In January our new Faithful Friends Book Club started with a wonderful group of women. We are reading Myquillin Smith’s book, The Nesting Place: It Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect to Be Beautiful. We have laughed, shared projects, and we’re enjoying discussing decorating minus the stress of perfectionism.

Faithful Friends Book Club is set up on Facebook as a private group. This way we can talk without it showing in our Facebook feed. If you would like to join us, it’s not too late. The Nesting Place: It Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect to Be Beautiful is a fast book to read and everyone in our group would love to have you join.  Visit the Faithful Friends Book Club Facebook page and click ‘Join Group’. I will personally add you!

After a vote, the group has chosen Mended: Pieces of a Life Made Whole by Angie Smith for our February book.

Book Description

“Mended takes you on a journey to show how faith lived in the regular events of daily life is all that it takes to be a part of creating God’s picture of redemption in your life and those around you. Your life does make a difference–because of how He is magnified in the cracks.” (From Amazon.com)
