With nearly 900 prophecies about Jesus’s Second Coming in the Bible (three times as many as for His first coming), I certainly had questions about key events that will take place before the Lord’s return. I found The Prophecy Answer Book by David Jeremiah a good place to begin finding solid answers.

Dr. Jeremiah’s book is organized by questions and answers on these topics: current events, the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Antichrist, the Second Coming, the Millennium, and the New Heaven and the New Earth. The book concludes with answers to three additional questions: How should we prepare for the approaching End Times? As we see the signs of the End Times appearing, what shall we do? Why should I study prophecy and the Book of Revelation?

The answers, written from a pre-Tribulation viewpoint, are short, to the point, and easy to understand. You can read this resource from cover to cover, or simply find answers to specific questions. For example, it answers questions such as: “Will people be saved during the Tribulation?” and “What will the Second Coming be like?”

I didn’t want to make an in-depth study of end-times prophecy, but I did want to understand the timeline of the events and where I fit into them. According to Dr. Jeremiah, “Studying and understanding the events of tomorrow will help you live with confidence and hope today.” I recommend this useful handbook and will refer to it often.
