I heard a good quote the other day . . .
“God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ‘I love you.’” – Billy Graham
This season is a good time to start a new chapter in your life. Make church part of your growth each week. Find a good church where your family and you can be a part and a blessing.
“My mom used to say that Greek Easter was later because then you get stuff cheaper.” – Comedienne, Amy Sedaris
Good Idea: Finding Easter eggs at your church or community egg hunt. Bad Idea: Finding Easter eggs at Thanksgiving.
Join in the Easter celebration your church offers. It’s a great way for the whole family to fellowship and make new friends. The kids will have a blast!
“Internet evangelism offers you a dazzling array of possibilities to communicate Christ.” – Web Evangelist, Rusty Wright
Digital Evangelism! Does your church have live streaming? If you can’t be in church due to illness or travel, it’s a great way to stay connected.
“Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf in springtime.” – Martin Luther
Easter is almost here! This is a great time to invite your friends and family to church to join you in celebrating the resurrection of our Savior this year.
“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’.” – Paul, Acts 20:35.
God “wrote the book” on giving, so to speak. Let your obedience lead you into personal spiritual growth. Take the challenge. Give to your church and community/world outreaches to see God’s work accomplished.
“Look not mournfully into the Past. It comes not back again. Wisely improve the Present. It is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy Future, without fear, and with a manly heart.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Hyperion, 1839.

“Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have somebody to divide it with.” – Mark Twain, Notebook, 1935
You have many people who can share your sorrows and your joys at church. Join your church family this week and let your household expand. It’s a great time to bond and have fun!
“Music is a part of us, and either ennobles or degrades our behavior.” – Boethius, De Institutione Musica (6th century)
Have you considered using your musical talents for God? Ask your music minister at church how you can share your talents to praise God.
“If it (automation) keeps up, man will atrophy all his limbs but the push-button finger.” – Frank Lloyd Wright, The New York Times, Nov. 27, 1955
Hmmm, smart guy. I’m sure even Wright would love the technology that makes our learning easier! Do you have a Bible app on your smartphone? With many available, you can customize which version of the Bible you would like to use and take advantage of great features such as Tweet out a verse, share with a friend, take notes, and much more. As technology continues to advance, we find more ways to encourage studying God’s Word. His Words change our lives every time we read them. So whatever your device, you can take advantage of even more great tools for learning at church.
“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt, speech, Sept. 20, 1940.
Your youth pastor is in the business of introducing young people to the One who can build youth! To help your teens grow spiritually, socially and emotionally, bring them to church each week. Youth groups are fresh, exciting, and always unpredictable. So get your teens to this life changing experience.
“For the night shows stars and women in a better light.” – Byron, Don Juan.
“At night there is no such thing as an ugly woman.” – Ovid, The Art of Love
Go to church at night! Need another reason? Well, you do generally have more elbow room at night church. If you haven’t tried night church in a while, go and see what you’ve been missing!
Make a point of seeing God in all of His creations this spring, and remember that your church family loves you. Go to church this weekend and bring someone else with you. You’ll be sure to leave with a quote you can share!
