Have you ever read a book that made such a deep impact on your life that you could not stop thinking about it or telling people about it? It has been several weeks now since I read The Insanity of God and I am still thinking about it daily and praying for the persecuted saints around the globe.

Nik Ripken is a false name the author writes under because he is a missionary who has served in several closed countries around the world.  He was moved by the work he did in Somalia, wondering how persecuted saints around the globe survived and in some cases thrived.  Nik circled the globe interviewing believers who have endured beatings, imprisonment, and some even witnessed fellow believers lose their lives.  He was searching for answers to his own questions about how to survive when all seems hopeless. Nik found many answers and so will you.

If you could read one book this year other than the Bible I would strongly suggest it be The Insanity of God.
