“May not a single moment of my life be spent outside the light, love and joy of God’s presence and not a moment without the entire surrender of myself as a vessel for Him to fill full of His Spirit and His love.” ~ Andrew Murray

The writings of Andrew Murray are considered classics among Christian readers. Born in South Africa, Murray was a missionary leader who wrote extensively on the power of a life of devotion and prayer.

“Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do.” ~ Andrew Murray

Amazon consistently offers several of Murray’s books for free Kindle download. If you do not own a Kindle, Murray’s books are still available to you by simply downloading the Kindle for Android to your phone or computer. Truth be told, with several Kindles in my home, I still find myself reading on my phone when I have pockets of time.

Andrew Murray’s books on prayer are among my favorites. If you are looking to build your Christian classic library, don’t forget Andrew Murray. Even if you have not read any of his books, you will probably recognize some of his quotes which are still heard today in sermons around the world, especially in reference to prayer.

“Our love to God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.” ~ Andrew Murray
