Homemade Donuts

For a fun, lazy morning, make homemade donuts with the kids.
3 cans of canned biscuits without butter bits (cheapest and plain are the best), and hot grease (I use half vegetable oil and olive oil).

Pop the biscuits out of the can and cut out the centers. Fry in hot grease 45 seconds per side.

For easy clean-up toss your donuts with either powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar. Put sugar in a small paper bag and gently shake. Make sure the donuts are hot while applying sugar, this makes the sugar stick. Don’t forget to fry the donut holes!
