“Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance.” Romans 2:4

Thy loving kindness is better than life,

Thy loving kindness is better than life.

My lips shall praise Thee, thus will I bless thee.

I will lift up my hands unto Thy name.

Hymn by John P. Kee based upon Psalm 63:3

This is what our Gracious Heavenly Father wants us to share with the world–His loving kindness.  How can you and I build relationships and share Christ with others?  One of the most biblical ways to build relationships with people is to offer a cup of kindness through daily acts of courtesy and manners.  Using the word KIND as an acrostic, here are four points to remember daily:

Kindness brings glory to our King – Matthew 25:31-40

Inviting others  to know Christ is the greatest kindness – Hebrews 13:2

Needs are met through kindness – Proverbs 31:20

Do unto others, the Golden Rule, is kindness in action – Matthew 7:12

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Jesus spoke what is commonly known as the Golden Rule.

“Rules for Kingdom Living” begin deep within the heart,

Developing a gracious spirit makes you successful and smart.

Use polite words such as Please and Thank You – you are able!

Add simple acts of kindness and you’ll earn the good manners label.

The Golden Rule is basic indeed, a great precept to obey.

Jesus first, others next, yourself last–this is what you’re to relay.

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8
