Do you have more tomatoes than you know what do with these days? Homemade salsa is fabulous! Give this one a try.

6 to 8 medium tomatoes

1 small onion

Teaspoon of minced garlic

3-4 small jalapeno peppers

1/2 small bunch of cilantro

1 can of diced Rotel (store brand is fine)

1/2 small can of tomato paste

1 to 2 tablespoons salt and 1 tablespoon sugar

Chop vegetables finely and stir in remaining ingredients. Let sit an least an hour and serve with chips.

I also put a little chili pepper in mine and have squeezed a lime in it as well, but this is all just extra. Make it to your taste.
