In His Presence #10 : After the Waiting Comes the Laughter

Encouraged? Share this post...

Abraham and Sarah waited on the Lord for a long time.  He had told them that they would have a baby.  I find it encouraging that after the wait, came the “laughter.”  Isaac’s name means laughter.

Psalm 27:13 says, I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. (NKJV)

If you are going through a tough time, remember that the stars shine brightest when the sky is darkest.  Don’t lose heart,

Listen to Joel 2:23-25, So rejoice, O sons of Zion, And be glad in the LORD your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has poured down for you the rain, The early and latter rain *as before.

The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil.

“Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you.

I hope you are enjoying your time “in His Presence.”  Link up and let us know what He’s sharing with you!
