One of the most difficult things about Christmas for many of us is the gift list. You may be frustrated because you really don’t know what the person needs. You would like to give money but it just seems impersonal. Here are some fun ways to give money for Christmas and still have a personal touch.
Take one dollar bills, roll them individually and tie them with a red ribbon. Use a fun container to hold them. I have used a stocking, a cookie tin, a tin of candy bars mixed with the ones, and a container in school colors.
One year I took a larger bill and put it under the wrapper of a Hersey bar. The person loved the candy and the money.
This year I am planning to take a toilet paper roll, and place it in the middle of a glass jar. The money will go in the inside of the toilet paper roll, and the jar will then be filled with gum balls. You could do the same thing filling the jar with what your special person enjoys.
