Family Christmas Project

For Christmas this year consider a family benevolence project. Begin by helping the children raise funds with yard sales or  chores where they can collect money for the project. Mom and Dad can save a specific amount weekly from their pay checks.

The week of Christmas (or when your monetary goal has been met) have a family meeting to purchase and send what was selected as the family project. In addition, chose a Christmas ornament that can have the year and the name of the project written on it. The ornament will be a nice reminder through the years of all the special projects your family has been involved in to bless others during Christmas.

“Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be His glorious name forever, may  the whole earth be filled with His glory.”
~ Psalm 72:18-19
