Designer Refrigerator Magnets

When I saw these adorable magnets over at Thrifty Decor Chick I knew I had found this year’s teacher gifts. In less than 30 minutes my daughter and I made 29 of these cuties costing next to nothing–my favorite price!

Supplies: glass orbs (from Dollar Tree), magnet buttons, Alene’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue, super glue, paint brush, scissors, scrapbook paper (heavy cardstock), and a 1-inch hole punch. If you don’t have a 1-inch punch, no worries. Substitute an Exacto-Knife and click here to see how Thrifty Decor Chick made her magnets.

Line up the paper to fit your punch circle.

Punch out designs.

Coat picture side of paper with Alene’s glue and press onto glass orb. When it has dried use super glue to adhere magnet. If you use thin paper the super glue will bleed through and the magnet can be seen.

Despite having a hard time getting a good photo due to the glass glare, take my word they are adorable.

While my daughter whipped some out for a friend’s school locker, I made these Georgia Dawgs for a fan. If anyone knows where I can get some Alabama scrapbook paper I would love to get my hands on it!
