“My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”   Ephesians 6:10
Gracious Heavenly Father, as this new day unfolds, I willing place my faith in You.  I know trusting You brings godly confidence which empowers me to live as You intend.  I can do nothing on my own, the strength comes only from Jesus.  Help me to meditate on this verse today, to draw near in prayer, and to focus on the Truth.  I ask for a discerning heart and an awareness of my sin which hinders my relationship with You.  Fill me with the power of His might so I may live in obedience—according to Your Word.  I praise You, in His precious name, Jesus, Amen.
