We are once again partnering with Danielle Lynn at Providential Living for the online Bible study, The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer. Danielle is a dear friend with a love for the Word of God and encouraging women to delve deeper by studying the Bible.

This will be our 4th online Bible study.
In the last year we have completed Pressure Points by Chip Henderson, Breathe: Making Room for the Sabbath by Priscilla Shirer, and How to Come Before the King by Danielle Lynn. It has been a blessing to participate in a Bible study that fits my schedule during this season of life with other women. Danielle facilitates both online video and discussion in a closed group setting. We (I and other study participants) get to know one another through our responses to discussion questions and one another.
Our study spans the United States.
On Saturday, Danielle shared on Facebook that 73 women have already signed up from across the country. Praise the Lord! I would love for you to join us too.
It’s easy to get set up and started.
Danielle explains how an online study works in clear terms. The Pressure Points study last year was my first online Bible study and it was easy to jump right in. If you have any problems, Danielle is available to answer questions and give technical support.
Mentoring
Looking for a mentoring program? The perfect place to start is a Bible study. You will meet women from all walks of life studying alongside you, sharing and encouraging everyone. If you are in a season of life where getting to a live Bible study is difficult, don’t pass up the opportunity to do an online study. Allow God’s Word to speak into your life through Bible study.

It’s simple. The online study is free — all you need to purchase is your workbook. Life way.com is the cheapest place I’ve found at $12.99. (You may want to see if your local Lifeway store has it for pickup and save shipping costs.) Amazon.com has the workbook for $17.94 although at time of writing, they are actually out of stock. Amazon is usually fast about restocking, just check back. They do list used workbooks as available.
Next, you’ll need either a smartphone or computer to sign up and watch the weekly videos and respond to discussion questions. Since you are reading this, I’m assuming you’ve got that last item covered!
Join Me?
The Bible study begins February 1st. Just so you know, I don’t have my workbook yet either and it’s okay. Danielle will not hunt either of us down! I’ve been sick for the last two weeks and unable to order my workbook or get to the store. (Did you notice there were no posts from Mentoring Moments last week? Yeah, the sickness.) The introductory video will be up this week and you and I can watch along until we get our workbook. I’m planning to call the Lifeway in my area today and am hoping I can pick it up there. If not, I’ll be ordering it.
Let your friends know too. This is a wonderful study to do with a friend and hold one another accountable. The armor of God is important and essential to our daily lives as believers — studying deeper about it will only be a blessing.
