Reaching Out to Unsaved Family & Friends

How is it that I can witness to complete strangers, yet often stumble over sharing with an unsaved family member or friend?

Christmas is busy and oftentimes we see our ministry as doing and giving. However, the greatest thing we can do is spend time in the presence of God praying for our loved ones. For many of us this will be the once-a-year opportunity to visit with out of town relatives. The enemy would have us distracted by our busyness. Focus this year on the opportunity to share the love of Christ. What greater gift than to know our loved ones are in right relation with God.

Begin calling out the names of your unsaved loved ones in prayer and asking the Lord to prepare you to minister or to put in their paths someone to speak truth to them. Meditate on scriptures pertaining to salvation, letting the Word become Rhema and ignite your soul afresh with the power of His saving grace.

For your convenience, you can download a handout with salvation scriptures listed that is good for prayer time. Insert your loved ones names in the scripture and pray the Word over them. Nothing is more powerful.
