It’s Friday and that means it’s Friday Inspiration!

Friday Inspiration

1. Operation Christmas Child. Processing centers around the country are now taking reservations for those willing to serve by packing boxes for world-wide distribution. It is a wonderful blessing for teens (must be 13 years and up) and adults to serve at a processing center. The above world map photo was taken last year at the Atlanta processing center. It shows all the locations this one center supplies packed shoeboxes to around the globe.

2. Looking for a good pencil sharpener for the kiddos homework? After spending $100 in one year on a variety of electric sharpeners that all broke (one the same day it was bought) I went old-school. You know what, it’s still working great after two years.

3. Udi’s Gluten-Free Hamburger Buns. Pricey compared to regular buns, however they are a wonderful treat for those who are gluten-free. Since I am the only one who eats gluten-free in my household, I keep them in the freezer. When we grill burgers I pull one out and let it thaw on the counter. My only complaint is the buns are huge, much bigger than a normal bun.

4. Revolution in World Missions. Gospel for Asia founder, K.P. Yohannan, is offering two books for free on GFA’s website. If you want to learn more about the power of missions, order your copy. (Scroll down on the site – the free book offer is on the lower right-hand side.)

Blogs that made me stop, think and pray

Putting Boundaries on the Digital World.  Are we (am I) training my children to make the digital world their servant and not their master?

Getting Priorities for the School Year  Many of you know Rhonda Ellis and have enjoyed her writing over the years here at Mentoring Moments. Over the summer she began her own personal blog and it’s wonderful! She blogs on mentoring, parenting, and a variety of other subjects. Whether you homeschool or send your children to public or private school, her post on priorities fits any educational situation.

Incase you missed it…

When Someone You Love is Verbally Attacked Page shared practical wisdom this week on how to deal with those who hurt our loved ones with words. We’ve all been there – and need to keep these points in mind.

Ah-ha Moments and Divine Pocket Money Have you heard of ‘divine pocket money’ before? Hope shares how the Lord has used it to bless her family and now guides her to help others.

All of the items shared in today post are based on personal opinion (mine). I was not asked to write these recommendations or compensated in anyway.

Like and share our posts – the more you like the more often Facebook will allow us to show in your feed. You can also visit our Facebook page and under your settings choose to receive Notifications.

We love and appreciate each of you. Thank you for your support in following, reading, and passing along our articles. Our heart is to share the encouragement and love of Christ with everyone – to glorify His great name in all we do.

Have a wonderful weekend!
