Homeschoolers have been enjoying the amazing Well Planned Day organizers and academic planning books for years. But now there is something new and exciting and I’m thrilled to be able to share it with you!
My Well Planned Day Software is a newly released, subscription based software program that will allow you to plan your calendar, customize and formulate lesson plans, assign those lesson plans, as well as chores, to-do’s, events, etc. to each person in your family as you need to. You can even do all your menu planning right in the calendar.
I have been trying it out for a short time now and I see great potential. I entered in the curriculum we’ll be using in fall. Then I made up some lesson plans and assigned them to my kids. Each person is a different color on my calendar, so when I click on the calendar view I can see exactly what each person is assigned.
Not only that, but the part I’m most excited about is the grading and record keeping. Once I have graded the assignment, I can pull up the assignment in the schedule, give it a mark (either letter grade, number grade, no grade, or whatever kind of grade I add such as grading on a 4.0 scale) and mark it completed. Later I can pull up the reports and I’ll have everything I need in one place!! That’s what I’m looking forward to the most!
This is a new product so there are some features that are not functioning yet that will make the system even more usable for the average woman. This includes having apps for any digital tablet on the market.
One of the things I think may cause some to give up quickly when learning to use it is the fact that it takes time to set up. I took a few hours to watch the tutorials in order to learn how to get everything set up and ready to use. Then actually setting up and customizing it for my family took some time (and there’s still more I’ll need to do before we start school in a few weeks). But once it’s all set up the system is easy and ready to use.
Home Educating Family, and the Keliher family, are the people behind this great product. They have offered one free subscription to a Mentoring Moments reader! If you would like to enter to win this subscription, follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter below.

Thanks for this great review. I have been looking at this option since it came out, but being new to homeschooling this year I can’t decide if I should spend the money in an already tight budget. I would most appreciate the lesson plans and reports as I currently and not sure how I would handle either. Thanks!

I love that I can plan everything in one place.
Honestly, I’m looking forward to ALL of it!
Being our first year homeschooling, this will help get our ducks in a row, and the chickens, cows and sheep too!
I would love to be able to plan for all four kids in one place that is easy to adjust to the normal changes that happen each week . . . Love it!!
I’m so excited that they’re making computer software with everything I need all in one place!
I love that it puts all my tracking needs in one mobile-accessible place!
This looks like a great tool for homeschoolers. I would love to be able to have all that stuff in one place!
I don’t think there is a feature on this I don’t like. I have been lurking on their websight… and can’t wait to try it!!
I can’t wait to try out the budgeting feature!
Would LOVE this for our homeschool!!
I am looking forward to the lesson planning and calendar parts!
I do like the grading feature!
But the planning and calendar for each person in a different color looks like it could greatly simplify my life as I homeschool my 4 kids! I’ve made my own checklist/assignment pages over the years, but this sounds much more versatile!
The lesson planning … I’m just starting homeschooling and a bit nervous about planning out all the subjects.
My friend already uses this and loves it! I can’t wait to use it to enter grades and and assignments.
Can’t wait to use the Calendar and Lesson Planning!
I love everything computers, so to have all my school/home planning in one organized place on the computer, is just so exciting to me!!! Can’t wait to try it out!

This is exactly what I’ve been searching for in an online planner. I cannot wait to see it and especially when it rolls out to the app. This will help my entire household to see what there assignments are for the day and still the flexibility of changing things when needed. Thank you!
I’d love to be able to do all my planning in one place!

Im looking forward to the google integration.
I would absolutely love to win this…it’s everything I’ve been wanting in an organizational tool. One drawback – my husband. He says we can’t afford it, so the only way I get to have it is to win it, so please, pick me, pick me!
I love the lesson planning, but I’m also thrilled there’s a menu planning feature!!
I’m looking forward to having homeschool AND homemaking all in one place. Chores and lessons together? Yes, please!
I am definitely needing the lesson planning/assignments portion of the planner the most! Would love to win it!
To answer the question, I am looking forward to all of it. It has been on my heart these past few weeks that we need to get more organized. God is not chaos, He is order, and that is how we should be too. To be able to have the ability to organize everyday life for the 7 of us is something I am looking forward to!
I think it’s the planning and record-keeping part that I’m most excited about!

I think my favorite feature would be how you can assign the lesson plans and it will automatically show up on the calendar.
Oh, I would SO love this software. I think their paper ones are nice, but not having to erase would be even better! Lesson plans would be awesome and to be able to run reports!!
Ooooooh! I am definitely looking forward to trying out the new software! Love that you can access it from anywhere and that it incorporates homeschool and home management! Thank you for the review!
the printability of lesson plans and chore charts would be awesome
I’m looking forward to the homeschool scheduling. It would be great to win this!
This sounds like the answer to my planning problems!
We are starting high school this year so I’m really looking forward to having help with record keeping! Thanks for the opportunity!
We start high school this year, so recordkeeping is going to be a much bigger deal than it has been in the past. This system would be very helpful!
Everything!
I an so excited to have a computer based planner for homeschooling. It gets old writing everything down. There are so many neat features that I love about this. The ease of scheduling things, the home management section, keeping records with out all the paper work, etc.
I’m looking forward to the fact that it does all of those! I currently use a ton of different apps plus a printed planner and this combines everything into one beautiful, digital planner I can use on my iPad!!
budget.
I am excited that it does all of things and I would have everything together! I am currently using several different planners for everything and would love to have it all in one place and digital!!
The calendar! And how it will sync with google calendar, which my husband wants me to start using. And I love that there will be a mobile app!
i love the lesson plan, budget, and menu planning areas!
I love that I can put everything into one program. I am an assistant at a local school, a softball coach and a mom and wife who also balances the home budget. The ability to put all of my information and plans into one program that I have easy access to would be wonderful!
I am liking several of the features, because I like things to flow! I most like the calendar, the lesson plans, the meal planning ~ and the CHORES section.
Thanks for offering this giveaway! Love the Well-Planned Day homeschool planner!
Actually, all of it in one place is what I’m looking forward to! But the menu planning and chore part are so helpful!
I like that each family member can use it! So handy!
