Great insights Molly. I agree. Today we are marrying off our oldest son. As I ponder what this day really symbolizes it makes me thankful that the covenant God has chosen with us is binding! So thankful for this picture of One who laid down His life for His bride.

The leader of our brand new mentoring ministry at our church sent me your link. I am so excited about this link to give me the biblical grounding I need from testimonies like the one I read today. February 1, 2012, my husband of 30 years was called home to be with his Savior and best friend after a year long bout with pancreatic cancer. His "glass half full" attitude is one of the things I will miss the most about him. The devotional thoughts I read today will help me to focus on the goodness of God in this new adventure God has entrusted me with. Change is difficult, but I know Who holds my future, and more often than not, I am ready for the challenge. Thank you for helping to stay focused on the truth of God's sovereignty in my life, love for me, and care for my journey.

We love to make Kale chips! Our favorite is to make Kale chips and have poached eggs on them. This is a great breakfast -- afternoon snake -- light dinner!

Thank you. It's reassuring to know God is in control and always working, even if things aren't going as we would like. Sometimes it is difficult to trust Him, but He is always trustworthy.

Bob & Cheryl thank you for your courage to address large families. As a mom of four, I have heard everything from 'are you done having children yet?' to 'are all of those yours?' No matter the size of a family, children are a blessing.

Hi Danny,

The baggie of sand and wooden dowel is only for the standing version of the centerpiece. Wooden dowels are just straight wooden sticks that can be found in any hardware type store--Home Depot and Lowe's have them. Stick the dowels down into a cup (a red solor type cup will work) that has a Ziploc baggie of sand. This is done for stability. The standing version can be a challenge with the weight of the flowers at the top and the dowel and sand help to keep it upright.

Tweet or send some pictures for Facebook--would love to see how it all turns out!
